74' Ironhead Rebuild-UPDATE

1974 Ironhead Rebuild
Well my husband is at it again with his 1974 Ironhead Sportster he finally finished rebuilding a while back. Which took him 3 years.  You can read a little on that here.  He's always Gotta have projects!

This beautiful Sportster is now starting the transformation into a Chopper.  Bike is completely apart, in the living room again. And other parts have arrived and more ordered. He's been a busy beaver again, researching, measuring and ordering.
Hopefully this one does not take another 3 years.  He started this rebuild last summer when we decided to get a new seat that was more comfortable for me.  The seat I sit on is called a P-Pad or Pillon Pad but to most it is non as a (pardon my French) a Bitch Seat.
p- pad, pillon pad
Not very comfortable at all especial on a hardtail.

This will be the new seat I believe it's called a King/Queen Seat.  Much more comfortable.
king/queen seat, king queen seat
I will update with project as he gets farther into the project.  Start of the rebuild to this 1974 Ironhead Sportster into a Chopper will be a little boring and technical for most of you readers.

For those of you who would like more information and/or details on this rebuild email me and well will get back to you.

As always questions or comments always welcome and appreciated.
