1974 IRONHEAD REBUILD

It has been a long 3 years, my husband has been working hard on his 1974 Ironhead Sportster which he was rebuilding into Bobber style Harley Ironhead bike. He put a lot of time, effort, research, money and mental thinking into this beautiful bike that he rebuilt. We certainly hope everyone enjoys the look of it as much as we do.

My husband  who is an avid Harley enthusiast enjoys riding as much as possible.    He currently owns two vintage Ironhead Sportsters. One of which is currently for sale.  He purchased one for me to ride.  However, I am too short to reach the forward controls, and the bike is a little too heavy for me.  So for now,  I will just enjoy riding and spending time with him (on the back).

Ethan is currently building  a bobber from the ground up.  We will be posting pics of the build as it progresses.  For those of you who aren't familiar with the term bobber, it is basically as he says "A naked Harley".  My husband does all the work himself and he is very good at what he does.  As you will see in the pics soon to come.  Its been a year into the build up now, all of which was done in his spare time which was very little.  He tells me, as I am telling you "Good things take time".  Just like take your own business.  Unless you find some crazy niche, which we have not, overnight money is not guaranteed.  Time and money to make money.  Start small, start somewhere, and eventually it will grow.  His bike started out in pieces, as will you, but persistence will bring it together, just like his bike will be eventually be finished.

My husband is always ope to new ideas, as well as answering any questions you may have about your Harley and his.  He wants to share his build up spec sheet, which he created himself for is bike build, to share with you as we get up and running.  Trial and error and lots of it, he put into his bike.  We hope you enjoy his progress as I do.  He works with basic had tools out of our garage, which is nothing much.  He started out in our living room, for the first 6 months, piece by piece.  As we grow, we would eventually like to see pictures of your builds.  As we can prove anybody can do anything with willpower, determination.  No wallet, and just a passion for what we believe in.

My husband is an inspiration  to me, and a lot of his friends, who bought the best of the best Harleys.  They still say how much his looks better than theirs so far.  It will be no 60 or 70 thousand dollar bike, like OCC, or Jesse James, but it will be ours and we will have the satisfaction of knowing we built it together, ourselves.
